Let’s dream big for 2012!

Calgary is bidding to be named the Cultural Capital of Canada in 2012, and we are looking for your ideas about how we should celebrate!

 

2012 marks a pivotal year in Calgary’s cultural history. The centennial anniversaries of some of the city’s cultural cornerstones will be celebrated in 2012 including: the Calgary Stampede, City of Calgary Recreation, the Calgary Public Library, the Pumphouse and GRAND Theatre.

 

What do you think makes this city great? We want to hear your thoughts on why you love living in Calgary, what you think the future of culture in our city should be, and how you want to celebrate culture in 2012.

 

Whether it’s acknowledging Calgary’s cultural history, experiencing everything this city has to offer or something entirely new, no idea is too big, no act is too small.

 

The ideas YOU suggest will be the basis for Calgary’s bid. Join us to dream big!
