Local teams to take on 48-Hour Movie Making Challenge

This weekend, 22 teams will compete in the 48-Hour Movie Making Challenge as part of the 7th Annual Calgary Underground Film Festival, which runs April 12 - 18, 2010.
Beginning this Friday at 7pm and ending Sunday at 7pm, teams will randomly be given a genre, a prop and one line of dialog to create a 2-6 minute short film. All writing, shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack must occur within the 48 hour window.

Completed shorts will be screened at the festival on Monday, April 12 at the Plaza Theatre, and will be judged by Danielle Nerman (Associate Producer CBC; Homestretch Nerman@Night & The Word Fairy), Dave Lawrence (actor/writer/producer), John Tebbutt (Video Vulture FFWD) and Gary Burns (Director/Writer/Producer).
