Spring has sprung, the grass has riz….We’ll show you where the birdies is! Join Heritage Park Historical Village for Things with Wings, a brand new family friendly event running March 27th until April 3rd.
Birds, bugs, seeds and airplanes… What do they have in common?  They all have wings! Celebrate the coming of spring with a visit to Heritage Park and discover Things with Wings.  Enjoy spring themed hands-on activities, crafts and games, and flap those winter blues away!
Things with Wings takes place inside Gasoline Alley Museum, and runs daily from 9:30am until 4:00pm, March 27th until April 3rd.  Enjoy storytelling, crafts, scavenger hunts and Ducks Unlimited Migration Station during the week, plus kite making, performances and a live bird presentation with Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society on the weekends. Things with Wings is a great way to get active with your kids during Spring Break. 
While you’re here, explore Gasoline Alley Museum’s new lower showroom on the weekends,  enjoy a light lunch or snack in the Railway Café, open daily from 9:30am until 4:00pm or  pick up a gift for someone special in the shops of the Haskayne Mercantile Block, open daily from 10:00am until 5:00pm. Plus, this will be your last chance this season to skate on our all weather skating rink located in the Heritage Town Square.
