The Fall 2009 Cultural District Arts & Dining Guide is now available

The Cultural District is pleased to announce that the Fall 2009 Arts & Dining Guide is now available online at CalgaryCulture.com/ArtsandDining and will shortly be available on stands throughout the Cultural District.

The Arts & Dining Guide is the go-to resource to find out what’s on in the Cultural District this September to December. Included are over 50 restaurants, hotels and attractions as well as season listings for art, museums, film, theatre, literary arts, dance, live music, festivals and special events – all within blocks of Olympic Plaza.

The Cultural District is bustling in September with Culture Month including Alberta Arts Days (September 18-20), the Calgary Art Walk (September 19-20) and the ArtCity Festival of Art, Design and Architecture (September 11-20). The following months continue strong with events like WordFest (October 18-20), Calgary Opera Grave Gala (October 31), the 2009 Grey Cup Festival (November 26-29), and Skate with Santa (December 5), all while being complemented by a mighty fall theatre season, tons of live music and a brilliant lineup of exhibition openings.

For art lovers, theatre-goers, foodies, live music fans, those on their lunch breaks downtown, or for those who just want to know what’s going on, the Fall 2009 Cultural District Arts & Dining Guide is the guide to experiencing Calgary’s arts and culture scene this fall.
